WELDON MAYOR RECOGNIZED

Weldon Mayor Julia Meacham was recently recognized by the Board of Directors of Halifax County Business Horizons, Inc. for her over 12 years of service to the Board. Halifax Horizons President, Dan Brown, made the presentation and thanked Mayor Meacham for her “outstanding leadership and service to the Board of Directors, in addition to her leadership as Mayor of Weldon.” Mayor Meacham is retiring and not seeking re-election as Mayor.
