Business Start Up & Resources Guide by the NC Small Business & Technology Development Center

NEW!  Resources for Rural Entrepreneurs – The US Department of Agriculture, Rural Development just released a resource guide to help rural Americans start and grow a business and create good-paying jobs in their communities.  The guide features information on how rural entrepreneurs can use USDA and other Federal programs to access financing and other assistance to help start and expand a business.

Business Plan Template for a Start-Up Business – This template includes instructions for each section of a business plan and corresponding fillable worksheets. Once you complete the worksheets, you will have a basic business plan for your business.

Small Business Center at Halifax Community College – This center will help establish and expand businesses by providing a variety of technical assistance programs and tools.

The Institute – Minority Business Development Agency – The Institute helps small businesses owned by minorities, women, veterans and people with disabilities start and grow—from one-on-one assistance, training, knowledge, networks, and solutions that help to create diverse, globally competitive businesses.

U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) –  SBA offers a wealth of programs and services to start, grow and succeed in business.
