Celebrating 25 Years of Reser’s Fine Foods

Daniel McCoy and Chip Fouts shake hands while holding a Halifax County Business Horizons plaque honoring Reser’s Fine Foods’ 25 years in Halifax County in 2026.

Twenty-five years of making food and building careers in Halifax County is something to celebrate!  At its annual meeting this week, Halifax County Business Horizons, Inc. celebrated the 25th anniversary of Reser’s Fine Foods in Halifax County. Halifax Horizons Vice-President Chip Fouts presented the recognition to Reser’s Fine Foods General Manager Daniel McCoy.

Reser’s Fine Foods established its chilled salad production facility on NC 903 near Halifax in 2001 and has continued to invest and grow in Halifax County. Reser’s expanded its local presence with the addition of the Don Pancho Authentic Mexican Foods facility in 2011. Together, the two operations employ more than 600 people. Behind that number are people and families throughout our community whose lives have been enriched by Reser’s Fine Foods. Careers have been built here, local businesses supported, and important tax base generated through the company’s continued investment. From Halifax County Business Horizons, Inc. and the Halifax County Economic Development Commission THANK YOU Reser’s Fine Foods for 25 great years!
