Leadership, Experience and Dedication to Halifax County
The Halifax County Economic Development Commission Board of Directors is made up of volunteers appointed by the Halifax County Board of Commissioners representing all geographic areas of the county. These individuals represent a cross-section of Halifax County’s business, education, agricultural, financial, manufacturing, and community leadership sectors. Through their service, Board members help guide the Commission’s efforts to strengthen the local economy, support existing businesses, attract new investment, encourage job creation, and advance long-term economic development opportunities for Halifax County.
The Economic Development Commission meets on the first Wednesday in the months of January, March, May, June, September, and November at 5:00 p.m. at the Halifax County Visitor Center, 260 Premier Boulevard, Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.
