Jack Kiger Joins Economic Development Commission Board

The Halifax County Economic Development Commission is pleased to welcome Jack Kiger to the Board of Directors representing the Weldon area. Jack was appointed by the Halifax County Board of Commissioners to fill the unexpired term of the late Johnny Draper. As a long-time resident of Weldon, Jack brings a deep understanding of our community and a passion for advancing local economic opportunities.

Jack is employed by Schneider Electric, where he works with engineering and mechanical contractors across the state to implement energy-efficient management applications. His extensive experience spans a range of projects, from hospitals to educational institutions, with a focus on energy efficiency in facilities located in the Research Triangle Park and areas further east.

The Board of Directors of the Halifax County Economic Development Commission looks forward to Jack’s contributions in support of economic growth and sustainability in Halifax County.
