INDUSTRIAL & COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION UNDERWAY

Construction is underway for several major industrial projects throughout Halifax County including the Binderholz manufacturing facility near Enfield and Roanoke Valley Lumber (RVL) in Weldon. Road improvements to accommodate increased truck and employee traffic by Roanoke Valley Lumber on Grace Drive and Power Place are underway and nearly complete. Both Binderholz and Roanoke Valley Lumber plan 2023 plant openings.  Additionally, Reser’s Fine Foods is expanding its warehouse and parking areas at the Halifax Industrial Center on NC Highway 903.  On the commercial side, a new brewery is planned for Littleton in 2023 and Aspen Dental is constructing a new facility on Premier Boulevard in Roanoke Rapids.

“Our local economy is certainly benefitting from industrial and commercial construction activity that will continue well into 2023,” commented Vernon Bryant, Chairman of the Halifax County Board of Commissioners.
